Very Affordable
Massive way to Hillfort Law with our recent home sale and purchase. Daisy, Adam and Hayley were all brilliant, retaining us up to date all of the manner via the technique and making sure that the manner was as straight forward and green as feasible. Would enormously endorse if you're searching out a professional solicitor's to cope with your conveyancing that is also very inexpensive. Thanks again in your help at Hillfort Law Firm.
Very Reasonable And Original Quoted Price
During a difficult and extended belongings sale due to a preceding solicitors mistakes and overlook, Adam labored tirelessly for months checking out free ends and turned into always one step beforehand of anybody until the sale finished. And on top of all of it, no matter the extra paintings and delays caught to his very reasonable unique quoted price. I can not fault the provider he provided and could be the usage of him again in future and could be strongly recommending him to anybody I realize.
Communication Breakdowns, Mistakes, and Frustration
My experience with this conveyancer was utterly disappointing. I initially selected them based on their positive reviews and what seemed to be a competitive price, even though they weren't the cheapest option available. I believe that a higher price might indicate a higher level of quality.
Unfortunately, the service I received was shockingly inadequate. Communication was virtually nonexistent, leaving me with the constant burden of chasing them for updates, in addition to the usual hassle of dealing with an uncooperative estate agent.
My requests for information from the estate agent were consistently ignored, and this neglect even led to the vendor threatening to withdraw from the sale. Moreover, I discovered significant errors in the documents, which I brought to their attention multiple times, only to discover that no changes had been made. This negligence resulted in a data breach that had to be reported to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Even more frustrating is that I was never introduced to anyone involved, making it impossible to address my concerns effectively. I attempted to get in touch, but my inquiries were frequently ignored. To make matters worse, I was rudely informed on more than one occasion that the staff members I was speaking with were not responsible for handling my concerns, and I was unable to obtain contact information for the right individuals. This lack of transparency and accountability only added to the overall frustration of the experience.
It was a terrible service
The service I received was utterly horrifying. I chose their services on online reviews and at a reasonable cost (plenty of solicitors cost less). How I was introduced to the different individuals, I contacted e in a state of confusion regarding whom I needed to direct my questions. I could go several weeks without receiving an email and would try to get them using my contact information —emails sent to the email address mentioned on their site bounce. Endless mistakes were made throughout the documentation. I repeatedly demanded they rectify the errors and were assured they would do it. However, I found out that nothing was changed. Did not reply to estate agents. If I had not gone through the same process, I'd be baffled, and, frankly, I was probably absolutely screwed because the procedure was opaque. In the end, it was a terrible service. I completed it in just a few months because the sale was probate with no chain to either. It caused some frustration, and I cannot imagine how a less complicated sale might be completed.
Excellent customer service
There have been many moves to my property times. The experience working with Hillfort is the most seamless that I have had. I want to express my gratitude to Adam Muldoon, who was always readily available and was the most efficient solicitor I've dealt with. Excellent customer service during the process of conveyancing. I highly recommend it, mainly as Hillfort's conveyancing fees are incredibly affordable.
I highly recommend Hillfort to anyone in need of conveyancing services
I recently used Hillfort for my conveyancing needs and was highly impressed with the level of service I received. The entire team was friendly and professional. Adam kept me informed every step of the way and quickly responded to any questions I had. I highly recommend Hillfort to anyone in need of conveyancing services.
NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!
I cannot stress enough that you should NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! The conveyancer we used misplaced the buyer. He also didn't spot a serious legal issue that resulted in us missing the stamp duty deadline and losing thousands of pounds. He was not willing to accept any liability for our losses. He was an ineffective communication expert, told us something, and then said to our buyer's solicitor another thing. He caused us a lot of anxiety to the point of it affecting my mental well-being. We will now take action against the particular conveyancer.
A few unnecessary problems
I picked this company because of previous reviews and an affordable cost, but they weren't the most affordable. Overall, they were able to complete the purchase. However, there are a few areas that need to be improved in their customer service. There are too many staff members, and there is no single point of contact for inquiries which means you could have multiple people to talk with, and they may or might not be aware of the situation 2. Documentation mistakes are highlighted and followed by a repeat, requiring correction more than three times. Two times, they were not prepared even in the eleventh hour on exchange and completion days anquirrequiredsts from the estate agent to make sure that the deposit and fees were at the right time due to mistakes on their invoices. A few unnecessary problems, but they managed to get the task done in the end.
I've never worked with this firm!
I've never worked with this firm! They do not respond to emails, and they're not professional. It took 1.5 months to find out they hadn't done anything. Then, our solicitor quit the company, but no one was informed or took over the connection. We switched solicitors, so in one month, we had finished. Finally, try to contact the owner directly... in vain. We had to pay a second month's rent because they had delayed the entire process. Don't choose this company unless you're looking to go through a significant headache and not own your home.
We wouldn't recommend this, and it isn't worth any small savings in cost.
Slow and unresponsive to our seller's solicitors or us continuously required to follow up after any event occurred, and incorrect guidance given caused a purchase to take more time than it needed to and resulted in a lot of anxiety. We wouldn't recommend this, and it isn't worth any small savings in cost.
Top-quality service
Adam Muldoon at Hillfort Law Firm performed the conveyancing process in three and three and a half weeks. Our communication was top-quality, and I highly recommend this firm for top-quality service.
The entire process was effortless and swift
I am happy with the service offered by Adam Muldoon. I strongly suggest Hillfort to anyone trying to sell or buy an investment property. The entire process was effortless and swift.
Grateful and would highly recommend
Hillfort helped me to buy a house. Tekken was beneficial and patient with all my calls for updates. We were done in 10 weeks, with Christmas included. We are grateful and would highly recommend you.
You get what you pay
You get what you pay for. I was slow, unresponsive, and without any information changes. I had two calls to request everything. I was overcharged on the day of exchange despite having confirmed that we'd paid three times before, with no warning or reply in over a month. It was exhausting. It's not very cheerful and cheap.
Highly recommended company
Hillfort was the best choice of all solicitors. Based on their reviews, reasonable pricing, and positive customer service, I chose them. I was not disappointed. The experience was exceptional. It was seamless from Jenine's initial contact with Daisy to Daisy's dealings with the property conveyancer.
Jenine was efficient, professional, and helpful in explaining the administration process and the documents needed to begin the process. Money laundering identity, etc. Contact was made by telephone and e-mail.
After this, my contact changed to Daisy. Like Jenine, very professional and efficient. How a company handles a problem is the best way to judge an experience. Our task was to find a way around a bank restriction. Daisy was very helpful in solving our problem to everyone's satisfaction. Excellent professional service.
