Guideline For Business

99Consumer provides a platform where consumers can share their experiences about different businesses.

We generate business profile pages when a specific business or company is searched for on our platform.

Customers can then post positive, negative, or neutral reviews about their experiences with the business.

Remember that an experience doesn’t necessarily mean a purchase — it could be a phone call, an online order, a visit to a store, or otherwise using your company’s product/service.

A newly created profile page will be removed if it does not receive reviews within seven days. 99Consumer also reserves the right to terminate a profile page if it contains a review for a different business.

The information on your business profile page must be accurate and not misleading. Verified businesses are not permitted to change or replace their entire business name, nor should they remove contact details like phone numbers. Verification does not grant the liberty to make alterations that could mislead customers or change the fundamental purpose of the business, as reflected in reviews.

User-Generated Content

All user-generated content on our platform, including reviews, opinions, images, and assets, is owned by its creators.

However, 99Consumer reserves the right to delete or remove such content if deemed necessary during a company review conducted by our moderators.

Pressuring or incentivizing a reviewer to change or cancel their review is a big no-no.

Review Request and Moderation:

You can ask for reviews, but your invitation process and language should be fair, neutral, and unbiased.

When asking for reviews, you can’t provide incentives like discounts, monetary rewards, loyalty points, gifts, coupons, referral bonuses, and the like.

The decision to delete or remove content is made at the discretion of the 99Consumer moderators.

Business Acquisitions and Reviews

We do not delete reviews when a business is sold or acquired. Business owners can respond to reviews through their dashboards to engage with reviewers and share their perspectives.

Engagement and Insights

Participating in online discussions and engaging with reviewers can help businesses establish trust, transparency, and customer credibility.

Companies can choose their level of involvement in these online discussions, and 99Consumer offers a platform for businesses to access and utilize positive customer interactions.

This service is available to all users at no cost.

Review Removal and Disputes

Companies, brands, or individuals seeking review removal can subscribe to our paid plan to evaluate reviewer profiles.

We manually moderate all reviews before publishing them on our website to ensure that they meet the terms and conditions.

To ensure the integrity and reliability of our reviews, we conduct background checks and carefully consider consumer opinions before approving a review.

If a business believes that a review it has received does not accurately reflect its ethics, standards, and credibility, it can dispute the assessment by claiming a paid profile.

Defamatory Content

Our platform sits between consumers and businesses, so we must balance competing responsibilities.

We want to let everyone tell their story (good or bad), but we’re also required to take down words and statements that are likely to cause serious harm to someone’s reputation or severe financial loss to a business.

That’s why you can flag defamatory reviews. But remember, just because a review is negative doesn’t mean it’s slanderous.

Business Account Profile

Businesses can claim paid profiles and get a business account. You can use it to send review invitations, reply to reviewers, and flag reviews that breach our guidelines.

Businesses can claim paid profiles and establish a business account, allowing them to send invitations for reviews, respond to reviewers, and flag reviews that violate our guidelines.

However, it’s important to note that canceling a 2-year fixed-term membership plan is not possible. If a business cancels its fixed-term contract, certain features will be disabled, and any reviews that were previously removed and remain undisputed at the time of their removal will be reinstated.

Furthermore, access to the account’s dashboard will be terminated. While downgrading the plan is an option, it will result in the same consequences as cancellation, except that dashboard access will be preserved.

Remember

Please understand that we have the final say concerning the interpretation and application of these guidelines, and we can update them at any time.

This policy applies to all businesses, regardless of their account activity or subscription to our paid services.

These guidelines ensure that 99Consumer remains a trustworthy and credible platform for consumers and businesses.

By adhering to these guidelines, businesses can maintain trust and credibility among their customers and the larger 99Consumer community.

Respect and Privacy

We expect you to be a respectful admin, and contributor to our platform. So play nice. Don’t post anything harmful, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, or obscene.

And don’t lie, bully, blackmail, make threats, or do anything illegal. We want everyone’s privacy and safety to be respected and protected, so don’t post any sensitive or personal information.
