I invested $365 to initiate the process of establishing an LLC and obtaining an EIN. However, despite waiting for over eight months, I have not received any updates. Regrettably, my attempts to reach BetterLegal via email have gone unanswered. This experience has not only resulted in a significant loss of time but has also proven to be a substantial financial setback.
The functionality of my LLC is severely compromised without the crucial EIN. Despite my initial expectations, the lack of responsiveness and progress has been frustrating and disappointing. Given my challenges, I would strongly advise against choosing BetterLegal for your business needs. They were swift and efficient
There is a constant issue when trying to contact them. They were swift and efficient (same-day) regarding the application process. Also, they faxed our EIN request to the extent I can tell. But their site has a lot of issues and is in absolute chaos. I had problems with login (right now it gives the error `Sorry, your login session has changed/expired... please try again`) and password reset (the password reset link had double app2.app2.betterlegal in the beginning so it did not work but worked after I removed the first app2.). They're still working on it, and it's not finished. I noticed that I saw a few links and utilities the first time I signed in no longer work. The most important thing is that they do not reply to your messages. They must have sent me 4-5 emails to fill in the. It could be that I sent not the correct email for my issue in particular. However, they failed to forward it to the right one. The contact us on their website doesn't seem to work for my situation.

Wonderful experience! I was amazed by how quickly the filing process was completed and how simple it was to provide all the necessary information. I've been worried about doing this for a long time, but BetterLegal has made it easy. Its price was comparable with other legal services and, sometimes, cheaper.
A challenging experience
At first, I believed I received excellent service, as I could obtain my documents in just a few days. The BIG problem was that, for reasons unknown, they could not supply me with an EIN but said there was an issue at the IRS. Then I was required to fill out an application and scan the form to forward it to the IRS. According to the IRS, the entire process could take a couple of weeks. The process has been going on for over a month since I received no EIN. I received a few responses in the last couple of weeks, confirming that the EIN would be forthcoming, but within the last couple of days, despite numerous messages, I've received no response. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! This is a challenging experience because what they advertise on their site does not match what I've received thus far.

There's nobody available to answer my phone. They even did not provide me with a receipt for $599 to create LLC the next day. It's frustrating to find a number, but it is only an automated call.

The company made a mistake with my file type, leading me to contact customer service (which is basically ineffective). I got an answer in several hours, and they fixed the error. Their website promises a three-business-day turnaround on filings filed in Delaware. It took seven days to finish my application, and I am waiting for documents for my business or get login details for my company's registration on BetterLegal's website. I've called, emailed, and even used the chat option on their site, but with zero success in getting any response. They didn't meet their time-to-return policy, and I haven't received a reply from anyone. This is a huge disappointment considering I own a business to run but no legal framework or documentation for my company. I am held hostage by BetterLegal and will never again pay for any of their services. I strongly recommend any other to follow suit!

For the first time, I employed BetterLegal to apply for an LLC within Delaware. When I first filed, they claimed a return period of three business days. In the present review, they continue to state that you will receive documents within three days after filing. It's been over 20 days since I filed, and I haven't had my papers. I am sure BetterLegal, at a minimum, filed with the state. This is why I'm giving them two stars. However, they've been unable to fulfill their promise to deliver in 3 days. I'll have to purchase a new agent as I don't believe I'll ever get my documents. I am very disappointed.

It was challenging to find contact information on the website. Go on the BBB website to find the contact information. The phone number was the wrong email did not work took over an entire week to make contact. After contact was established, things went well. The application for Texas LLC was submitted promptly. I am pleased with the result.

The speed, service, and cost of BetterLegal received five stars. I was disappointed that I didn't receive my initial choice of LLC name. I'm sure that my initial intention was available. However, I feel it was a hold due to the SOS because I had a query about the name on another website. I selected BettterLegal because of the price. However, I believe I could not get on my initial request for a title. There should be an option for me to choose another name. However, BetterLegal did not offer this choice. When applying, there was a requirement for a second name, and all of it was acquired in an application.

I wanted to have everything completed quickly, and when my state was experiencing an unanticipated delay (over twenty days) in processing the paperwork, they informed me about it. They provided me with the option of canceling my order before the filing.
The filing was submitted to the state the same day my order was made and kept me up to current on everything going on through texts, email, and telephone. My documents arrived by email after the state completed my application which allowed me to utilize the documents to establish a business bank account. The service is higher priced than what I'd prefer. However, I was pleased with the outcomes.

Excellent service and quick. I didn't rate it five stars because I thought I should have received a text message or some other way to inform me early in Advance that my initial decision was obvious. The process was straightforward, except that I purchased an EIN alone, not knowing it was part of the cost. It could be easier to understand, and I think the price may be less for the entire service.

FAST and EASY!!! The only thing I had to work with was the design and layout. The website could be a bit smoother and user-friendly (UI/UX), and it is excellent not to type in the same data in various sections (check box for the same information previously ). Credit card information input was created using current techniques and had some issues, but they were quickly fixed.
Unacceptable experience with an easy
A bad experience. I filed a single-member LLC on the 2nd of January, but I haven't received the paperwork they promised to provide. They claimed they would have the EIN for your business. However, this was that's not the case with my situation. They advised me that you should contact them to get it myself...They have you set up with an agent registered that is affiliated with another agency and do not provide you access online to the dashboard, allowing you to view any correspondence from the agent.
After filling out the EIN form and then faxing it in, they failed to give me an EIN confirmation letter for months after filing. They then told me I needed to get an additional one on my own, which was impossible. They "can not" do it, they claimed. (I am confused as to why I had to pay for this service when I needed to do everything. I believe this service is a fraud and not worth the cost or hassle, to be honest. The customer service isn't excellent. In fact, quite rude. They also take days at a stretch to reply to ticket requests.

Chad and his staff were incompetent and made a mess of our application, which led to problems. I wouldn't recommend them. I can't tell the distinction between their law firm and others. Please take a look at the reviews with negative comments, and they are detailed in the complaints. Also, it's odd that all reviews positive come from people who have no prior reviews. Terrible job!

I absolutely wouldn't recommend this service! I had a problem completing my annual tax filing and had to keep looking to confirm whether it was completed, and the representative was unhelpful and rude! Don't invest your time or your money!
