Peddle.com doesn’t honor their offer
9-9-23, Peddle.com offered $360 for my 1997 ford ranger knowing the catalytic converter was missing. I accepted the offer.
9-12-23, Third party tow company came to get the truck. I wasn’t there so they talked with neighbor, Sue. Towing told me on the phone the truck had no catalytic converter so they would take $150 off the price.
I told Towing that Peddle.com asked about the catalytic converter on the offer form and I wrote “No, it’s missing”. And then Peddle.com offered me $360. Towing said that information was not conveyed to them. They told me I could take it up with Peddle.com.
9-12-23, Towing gave $210 and towed the vehicle.
I called Peddle.com and told them Towing didn’t honor the $360. They said it was within Towing rights to adjust the price if the catalytic converter is missing.
I pointed out that Peddle.com offered me $360 with the knowledge that the catalytic converter is missing, so why don’t they honor their offer.
Peddle.com asked what I would like them to do. I told them they can mail me a check for the balance of their offer that I accepted, $150. They said they couldn’t do that. I told them I going to give them a bad review.
Towing driver texted me a photo of his Peddle.com work order printout. It lists all other conditions I was asked in their form but neglected to indicate the catalytic converter is missing.

Peddle.com is not honest and tricked me into believing I was getting $150 more than what they knew I would get. That’s false advertising.
In my experience, Peddle.com ripped me off and didn’t care how I felt about it.
A financial crisis
I discovered after negotiating plans using Peddle I would get an extra $150 for each vehicle if I had reached out to the salvage companies with no help through Peddle. My fault for not having looked into alternatives more! The current situation is in a financial crisis, and the extra $300 for two cars could have significantly benefited.
A more expensive cost
I would have liked to see the discount amount of the Catalytic Converter that was missing disclosed before the prequalifying requirements. The site was quite thorough and included other terms of the car - so it would be nice to have the converter's status, too. This was presented just before the driver of a tow truck was expected to take the vehicle as a kind of bait and switch. I had to leave work, and causing the subject of discussion was not a good idea. Thank God I could get a more expensive cost than the tow truck driver was offering.

My first experience using Peddle, and I am convinced they're a fantastic company because they gave me the lowest price and could carry the burden of their work. The Peddle team didn't have to spend much time towing the vehicle. Their driver, as well as their customer service, was excellent.
Easy to navigate
Peddle's website was easy to navigate, my quote was met, and pick-up was set. The date (after three) required me to be at work earlier so that I could be home by the driver...who did not call or show up to pick me up, which cost the company money (work) and took up my time. When the towing company phoned the next day and told me they'd received an email to come pick up the vehicle. At that point, I'd discovered a buyer for the car (who provided more cash).

It was not mentioned the cost quoted was subject to alteration. In the end, I received only half the amount after the driver of my tow truck attempted to inform me that the catalytic converter in my car was defective and, despite having it bought and repaired from an authorized source, the exhaust produced very little noise, and my vehicle did not have problems with emissions or smog.

It was an odd encounter. A man showed up. However, it was shady. They also paid me cash. I don't think I'm aware of it. It's possible that most people would prefer some money, but I've never used funds to pay for anything, which is why it added an element of suspicion to the affair. However, it was speedy, which is a plus for it.
I had trouble
When I went to cash the check three hours after an insurance auto auction where they bought the through peddle, I could not confirm that the review was one new one. The one via the market. I had trouble getting it in cash. Three places before the 3rd place cashing it, I paid 46.42 for money cash. I would have cashed it at any of the other locations I examined, with it would have just $4.00 in cash. It was too many hassles, mainly since I had no bank account.

AMAZING! I wrecked the car I owned that had a clean title just a few days ago, and my mom, in a casual conversation, suggested Peddles purchase the vehicle. I dialed my cell, searched Peddles, filled in the details, entered my vin and the damages, and it gave me an acceptance and an amount over two times what the junkyard would have offered me! Not more than 30 minutes later, they called me to arrange for pickup within the hour. They arrived on time, gave me one phone call, handed over the car title and keys, and gave me my money! I appreciate your help!

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the procedure was. After I accepted the offer, they contacted a local tow company they contracted with to come the following day. The driver confirmed that the car was running and drove it to the bed, and then I got a check from the spot, which was cleared. Much easier than using CL or selling myself. I was sketched out, but the driver informed me that her pick-up caught ld using his card to go. Recommended, and I am in Maine.

A My friend informed her about Peddle. I recently was able to have Peddle take my broken Jeep Commander. The process was simple and smooth. I also received an acknowledgment when I transferred. I was delighted with the whole process from start to end.

I received a money transfer online within 5-10 mins. Answered questions and received dollar amount quotes. Peddle Representative came in, looked at the SUV, and made a short bargain, but then paid the amount initially suggested. The check was signed and is being held in the bank electronically. A great and easy process and you don't even have to wait around for an estimate. They can schedule someone to be out on time. I would use them again

The rating I gave would've been excellent if not because the driver paid less than what we had agreed on under the contract terms. The lady who contacted me after I informed her that I only got a portion of the cash and not the amount they promised me. She ensured the driver arrived the following day to pay me in complete. Peddle was amazing. Even though I had issues with the tow company a couple of times regarding pickup, Peddle was right there informing me of the need to change or add tow vehicles as needed, quickly and speedily. They were sincere and listened to my concerns. Peddle's cust care department is extremely friendly and well-informed. My sister has had Peddle twice previously. I have used them and would suggest Peddle to any person. It wasn't easy to let go of the car I had owned for almost 23 years. The tow truck driver was kind to it and carried it away. Pleasant experience
Following that, the Denver Groove Ford dealership declined to purchase my Focus and said they "weren't worth anything" and "cost them $500" to remove vehicles; I was pleasantly surprised to receive less than 2k for my car that had issues with the transmission. They did change their initial offer by about around $75, and it was small, but aside from it was a pleasant experience. Additionally, the driver of the tow truck was fantastic! It's different than simply using any towing service!

The service was excellent, And our Carrier was terrific! He was extremely friendly, accommodating, and patient. My daughter had a car accident on Sunday. They were able to impound her car by Walnut Hill Wrecker, which meant we had to drive from Oklahoma for a four-hour drive to pay for the car back out. After I paid Walnut Hill Wrecker, they forced us to wait for 3 1/2 hours before they could find someone to remove all the cars blocking my daughter's vehicle, even after I complained the entire time about the situation. They kept saying that we needed to come back the next day, but that wasn't going to occur since I had taken off from work the day before and driven there for four hours. They finally got people to move the cars so the Carrier could take our vehicle. The Carrier was great and was all the time, and I tried to find people to drive the cars and made sure that I didn't need to wait until the next day to finish the job. The name of our Carrier was Joseph. He was Awesome!

I am happy! We're glad! Mazda was running 215k miles and finally stopped working for us last week. We were offered 7k to repair the engine and make it run again. We decided not to proceed with this option. However, we were not sure which option to take with our vehicle. The location we had it removed from could probably only receive $300 for the car. There was a balance of $130 at the time for diagnostics, and they informed us that "if you give the car to us for scraps, we will call it even, and you won't have to worry about the $130 balance." I was not thrilled with this and felt we were being scammed; however, still...I was not sure how to deal with it. I've never scrapped my vehicle before. I searched on Google for a scrapper, and Peddle came up as the initial search result to show up. Once we had answered a couple of the questions, we were offered a price of $870. I was amazed by the increase in price (we went from 0 to almost $1900!). I was even concerned that it could be fraudulent. I checked out the reviews and found them to be legitimate. My husband and I were with them when they arrived and handed them the keys and the car title. The car. They took away the car and gave us an amount of money for the amount. It was so easy! I am thrilled with the experience and thankful for discovering these guys.

The process was simple online, and I received an instant quote. After I accepted the quote, Peddle linked me to an expert service provider who could tow my vehicle off (Chief Roadside in Atlanta). I am not happy with Peddle
I am not happy with Peddle since I feel like they gave me a single amount after I responded to every question honestly; however, the driver who came to pick up my car offered me (75 percent) less than the amount for an apparent missing component that was not even an inquiry to be included in the original offer. The item is under the car, so I could not slip it under to confirm it was not there.

If you decide to sell your car through them, be aware that they can offer you a very high price, and then a local junkyard will take it away and offer you a fraction of the amount they said they would. I k also awash with negative reviews about being fraudulent. The company scammed me.

I would have guessed that a Jeep Grand Cherokee would have more value. When the tow truck arrived to collect the vehicle, the driver was astonished was how lovely the car was. Worst experience ever. No more the names changed of buyers, and getting the bill of Sale receipt at the DMV took a long time to obtain. The screen constantly changes the date of the incident. This happened to pick up my car on the 24th of October, 2022.
