The dealership you are buying from is either unprofessional or fraudulent! I came across a car on autotrader that I was interested in, and I asked photos. The images sent showed like the car was in excellent condition. I inquired about these photos asking: "do these pictures accurately represent this vehicle? "Yes, they do. Are there any damages that's not shown in these photos? The answer is that there's no damage to the vehicle that is not depicted in these photos.
I made it clear that I had to drive for eight hours to purchase this vehicle and asked if there was any issue I should be aware of before the trip and expense. The answer is that it's sturdy as a stone. After the eight-hour drive and looking at the vehicle from about 40 feet, i spotted that the roof was rusted The salespeople claimed they had not noticed it, and it was odd to see that saw it through the window of the dealership.
In further investigation, this vehicle was placed in a parking lot which was not enough, resulting in damages of $10,000 that they were unaware of. After further discussion, it was clarified that they purchased the vehicle with a hole of 6 inches in its roof which was patched by the body shop.
This is a clear deceit since the body shop they used to do this repair, and they knew about it. In writing, they stated that the management of the dealership that "they would fix the damage and ship the van to me" however they failed to do so. In addition, they wrote that they would refund the rental vehicle for the inconvenience.
After submitting proof of the expenses, they did never responded to any communications. Here is a list of a handful of fraudulent things that this dealer does. Don't buy a vehicle. Do something else!
