There was an option that said "try dall-e," and I believed it was free to test, as are most apps and websites. It's unclear what they need both for; they could sell my information to third-party vendors or, even worse, criminals. There is no legitimate reason for them to require my phone number to use the service, and they didn't disclose this requirement until after I had already verified my email address. I would highly caution anyone considering using this service, as it's unclear where your data may end up.

A bit of trial and error is required,d but it can have impressive results if you have the patience and inincincreaselutionhere's something I could be nitpicky about; it's the filtering of keywords. I can appreciate the need for DALL*E to provide secure content and also to ban specific keywords to avoid explicit images of hatred, sexual violence, violence, as well as other graphic images. I'm happy for them.
But there were some words I typed in that resulted in unexpected warnings. Some examples are Camille Pi$$arro's impressionist painter, something I'm assuming the DALL*E filter isn't fond of due to"pi$$" being a word "pi$$" embedded in his name (incidentally it's misspelled using dollar signs, as Trustpilot doesn't seem to be a fan of the word too). Also, Emily Dickinson because of the "dick" in her name. The word Ukraine is not allowed due to its current connection with was;r however, other countries like the USA or America, Canada, Franc,e, and Italy are permitted.
These warnings are generated automatically, which could lead to being banned if the offensive keywords are used frequently. Thankfully, I haven't been banned, but I am still learning what constitutes safe practice. However, I believe that some refinement is required. DALL*E is a master of making to create some stunning pictures. It makes sense that their AI can distinguish between offensive words such as "pi$$" or "dick" on a standalone basis, as opposed to the names of people like Camille Pi$$arro and Emily Dickinson.
But I do believe DALL*E is top-quality.y I am pleased to give five stars for how it will revolutionize the art world in the future.
