The trip went very well. I think the recommendation to set a higher price on the plane was a reason why it was more challenging to sell. The price we agreed to was lower than I'd have preferred, and then I finally decided to lower it even further as I could not face another attempt to sell. The truth is, I could be a bit more cautious rather than settling for a reduction in the price.

My aviation experience is comprised
The aircraft VH-ELL is advertised with the words "Beautifully Maintained." When conducting the pre-purchase check with a qualified engineer, it was found that the skin on the underside of the horizontal stabilizer has severe stone damage to the point that it is almost protruding into the skin surrounding rivets and load-bearing structures. The skin on the underside was "oil canning" at just the slightest pressure. The aircraft also suffered an injury to the bottom of the tail, which could indicate an eventual tail strike.
The plane is advertised as having ADSB, but it was discovered that ADSB was not installed on VH ELL.
When referring to this manual Cessna Maintenance manual regarding skin injuries, it was very likely that this aircraft, in its current condition, was considered unairworthy. None of the damage is illustrated in the picture that appears in the advertisement. My aviation experience is comprised of 30 years of experience and 12,500 hours.
