Bad Repair Experience and Lack of Communication and Trust Issue
My charging dock was fixed on my smartphone. The moment I got the phone back, it was repaired, however the sim card I was using was not operating (no connection or internet). I reported this issue to the person who repaired my phone, and the staff member said there would be no return, and I was required to keep my phone with the company for five days in case I required it to be fixed.
He claimed that the SIM slot for the card was damaged due to them. Then he became inconsiderate and stated there was no method of contact his supervisor, which took him a few minutes to do. I returned in the morning with a different employee of staff reset something within my settings, which then functioned perfectly.
Irresponsible Service and Accusations of Damage
I recently had a highly unsatisfactory experience with iSmash when I took my phone in for a battery replacement. The service was subpar and resulted in significant damage to my phone screen.
Firstly, the technician failed to inspect the screen before replacing the battery. This lack of due diligence led to the accidental damage of my phone screen during the process. When I brought this issue to their attention, instead of taking responsibility, the staff at iSmash outright accused me of lying about the pre-existing damage.
The refusal to acknowledge their mistake and the accusatory tone used by the staff was highly unprofessional. It left me frustrated and disappointed with the overall service. Seeing a company unwilling to admit fault and take responsibility for the damage caused under their care is disheartening.
I strongly advise anyone considering iSmash for their device repairs to exercise caution. If you decide to use their services, I recommend thoroughly documenting your phone's condition with photos and videos before handing it over to them. This precautionary measure is essential, as iSmash seems inclined to deny responsibility for any damage they may cause.
A rush and unprofessional repair
I brought an iPad to get a replacement of the battery to get a replacement battery. I returned with a scratched screen covered with dirt and adhesive all over the frame due to a rush and unprofessional repair. They demand the use of a passcode for tests, and they will waive any responsibility if they don't have one and put it in the tiny print. What is the reason you require a password for replacing a battery? No idea. Beware of this kind of stuff.
A disappointing service
I took my iPad's screen to have it replaced. The repair was quick and took an entire weekend. When I arrived home and removed the plastic label, I discovered the home button was broken. I had to return the following day, and they fixed it in less than an hour. After a few days, the device was damaged yet again. Ipad remains usable. However, it has no home button. It's a disappointing service.
Unprofessional service
I paid to repair the iPad screen. We know that iPad screens shouldn't be replaced because it causes more significant problems (Apple has recently informed us - they will fix the screen of your iPad when it's experiencing issues!) The iPad does not work, and Apple isApplesing to give a refund. We've had to make a complaint at my financial institution! Unprofessional service, lies, and deceit! DO NOT GO HERE
This is a terrible service
iSmash is the repair center I have chosen for Backmarket, where I purchased my phone and insurance. After having paid the extra fee, it took six days for iSmash to get in touch with me to let me send my phone to them for repair. I'm now required to call them immediately regarding the repair. However, the contact number they offer doesn't work, and they've never responded to my inquiries. This is a terrible service thus to date, and I don't recommend them.
Fantastic and very friendly
The Westfield Shepherd's team is fantastic and very friendly. A different provider repaired my son's cell phone a few months ago. It turned out they stripped his phone of its original components and created the damages that required repair. The people of iSmash are honest and knowledgeable. It will be replaced earlier rather than later, but they did give some extra time. I highly recommend this!!
Fantastic customer service
I called them around 11 am to inquire about a new MacBook battery. They told me they had batteries on hand in King's Road and that if I took it to them at noon, I would get it by 3 pm. I didn't have enough time to return to Clapham when they phoned and told me it was available for collection. Fantastic customer service.
Excellent service
I called Ismash around 10:15 am. The technician I spoke to completed my repair by 11 am. He was helpful, and by noon, my phone had been repaired, and I returned home. Excellent service.
The staff did not respond
My experience was one of the worst encounters I've ever had with the dog shop. I took my phone to fix the battery but then discovered that the phone's screen had broken, and the staff did not respond to my inquiry as I attempted to tell them that I should stay clear of them.

The woman (I couldn't remember her name) was terrific! She was accommodating and even put an unpaid screen protector for my phone after she had fixed the issue. It took only half the time it was initially stated to repair my phone. Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend it!!

I brought my smartphone in to find the screen was dark, with green streaks. I was initially awed by the fact that the desk was operated by an engineer who immediately diagnosed that the phone needed an upgrade to the screen, quoted the cost, and then purchased one. He advised me that I could get a replacement for my phone for just PS20. It took about a week for the screen to appear, but the phone went silent. After a week, I called. They repaired the display, but they had either been unable to run the test software, or it was damaged and so had been put away. After 30 minutes, they agreed to change the screen, return the phone, and charge me no fee.
I am performing much better when using the original smashed screen and am dissatisfied with it.

The online booking system was simple to use, allowing me to book an appointment today's morning after smashing the screen of my phone yesterday. However, once I returned home, my phone's net began to glitch, after which my phone started to sluggish! It was a bit of a disappointment since I had paid PS140 for it, and it seemed to be in good order in the store. I auld still visit the shop to have it checked out, but it isn't enjoyable.

Excellent service in the shop. The new screen is great. I also purchased the screen protector and a new battery. Screen protectors can affect the sensitivity when typing along the edges, but not too much, but noticeable when typing letters such as z - m. I've not seen any difference since the switch to this new battery. Perhaps the phones start running out of juice when (Keynes) becobecomeser? Possibly. I'd go back to the store except for the screen protector and maybe not the new battery.

The person at the desk was unhelpful and claimed he could not help me, and when I inquired about why, the answer was, "I've already told you, Madam" as if I was making a fuss, but I wasn't. I was just not sure the reason they weren't able to help. He advised me that I should go to a different shop. It was highly upsetting because I lost access to my phone and I was relying on personal assistance and suggestions from an expert. My experience today was nothing less than professional, though I've read some favorable reviews, and it could be that I wasn't lucky enough.

I scheduled an appointment, and they were able to see me immediately. The repair took around an hour. Even though they chipped my phone, they only chipped it slightly. They have taken responsibility and given me a refund. My phone is as good for its new condition, and I'm content with the outcome. Thank you!

I replaced the screen of my phone at pixel 4a after it turned black using a screen protector. Three months after, I throw it on the sofa, and it's back to black - obviously a sub-par replacement. Bring it into the store to claim a warranty, and the guy immediately points out an oapparenthairline crack on the screen. He then states that physical damage invalidates the warranty. The man had no compassion whatsoever; he looked at me as if I was insane for bringing it into. It broke after throwing it on the sofa, also. It seems like they have put in shoddy replacements believing that they'll crack easily and won't have to pay for the warranty. Tell me what a hairline fracture that isn't felt has to do with the entire e-screen turning black. The man behind me was also rejected for even more little reasons. What is the reason not to offer a genuine 6-month warranty which is natural? Rubbish.

My first experiences with Ismash were not as great as I stated in my initial review. After three emails and numerous calls, they did contact me, and within six days, my phone was fixed the second time successfully and then returned to me. ISmash has my iPad as well as my money. However, it seems complicated to get the battery, despite numerous promises that it will be delivered on the same day. Promises, platitudes, and even falsehoods constantly bombard me. The original estimate of time needed to replace the battery was five hours. The time now is 12 days old and counting. This is an organization to stay clear of.
Excellent staff
The experience I had with the shop and staff was great and professional in their attitude to service for customers. However, the screen was not working, and I couldn't connect to my phone. They were excellent and promptly changed the screen. But the screen isn't working, and I can't access my phone. Therefore, I must return to the shop to purchase another screen. Excellent staff; however, I'm losing confidence in the product.

Additionally, the store had an in-store Black Friday sale, and I got a discount, a nice bonus. First, make an appointment if you are able and at least one day prior (for places that are busy) to ensure that the parts needed to complete your service are reserved or ordered for you. The second issue is that my phone did not recognize the battery I installed as an Apple product and thus isn't tracked through Apple's systems. It's a minor problem for me, who has an older (3+ years) iPhone, and my battery's performance is much higher than it was. However,r it is worth looking into the impact on warranty and other issues for phones with more recent models.

The phone is functioning as it should after being advised on care and appropriate additions (which I decided not to take), but if I need them in the future, I'll return to Alex!

Two different attempts to replace the iPhone 11 Pro screen. The first depleted its battery (LCD), and the second (OLED) improved but was less effective than the original screen's battery longevity. I was not informed when purchasing that LCD has greater battery capacity than OLED, which is not an excellent customer service experience—I had two trips to this branch. Cribbs Causeway branch, which is it was a loss of time and money for me.

The time to repair was prolonged over several weeks. I've tried many times to reach smash, but they don't have a telephone number for anyone to call, and their responses to emails aren't helpful as they are extremely slow and occasionally.

I was able to have a Samsung S20 repaired after a smashed screen. I do not have any reservations about the initial repair to the screen, but the battery was also replaced because of Samsung's policies, I was told. The phone is brand new, only six months old, and the battery's life is almost perfect. However, the replacement battery is beginning to drain twice more quickly as the one it replaced, which suggests that the phone is an inferior model.

My son's phone was taken on Saturday night, and the train he was on had to catch by early the next day. The phone was an older cell phone with a cracked screen at home. Azhar from iSmash claimed they could fix it before the train and was able to put a new screen installed and ready in just 30 minutes. My son now had a working phone that he could use to return home at a less expensive cost and an improved model instead of attempting to find an equivalent handset. Thank you very much.
They were a friendly bunch of people
They were a friendly bunch of people. I had my phone booked for a diagnostic examination after I dropped it from a reasonable level, and it couldn't turn on. They were swamped, so I checked my phone the following day. They replaced the battery and informed me they could not repair my smartphone. Despite my suggestion, they did not cost me the time they took to perform the diagnostics.
I had a conversation with a gentleman known as Azhar
I spoke with a gentleman known as Azhar, working in his branch in Leeds. Azhar was an absolute star. He restored my faith in customer service. I was scheduled for an appointment scheduled for three days later, but I contacted him on the off opportunity to find out what they could do to be able to accommodate me earlier.
Although they were not staffed, however, he was able to fulfill not just his other orders but also for the day. But also went the extra mile to fix my screen for my iPhone.
Extremely helpful
My screen was scratched with a home button that wasn't working. Raj could add the home button to my screen, which was a huge help (old phones). Raj was accommodating and could get my phone ready by the time I returned the following morning (it came in the closing hours). The two other staff members who helped me with the battery issue at a later date (found to be that I needed a different charger after having my phone repaired) were also extremely helpful. I would recommend them to my friends and family.
Did not answer
Although I was satisfied with the repair, my iPhone 11 wasn't worth it, so I chose to go for the standard repair. They don't tell me that if you have an apple screen on your iPhone, it will invalidate the value. They inform you that it invalidates your warranty with Apple, but I cannot trade it in because they said it was worthless. O2 has also stated the same.
This is something that I think smash should be aware of. This was not an issue for the guy who repaired it. This issue needs to be addressed! I tried calling smash's head office, but they did not provide ..... I called smash head office, but they did not answer. The screen that I received from them went off the rails.
