    A significant impact

    May 1, 2023

I am awestruck by the work HRD does for its employees. HRD. Keep up the fantastic work and constant effort to alleviate the Yemeni population of suffering, hunger, and general hardship that they suffer. The Yemeni people are genuinely the best! We can see for ourselves the impact of our contributions. What started as an idea, you established an organization that makes a significant impact and can change lives regularly. It is something that could become a worldwide effort to end hunger all over the world! We are with you!

They are working on improving their processes and systems.

    Mar 18, 2023

After seeing my Facebook always feed full of pictures of children starving in Yemen, I started searching for a worthy charity to help those in Yemen. Luckily, I came across. The organization is run by Maeen and his team, who I consider sincere and doing an excellent job. It is a relatively new company. However, they are working hard and doing impressive work. They are working on improving their processes and systems.

The dedication, drive, and outcomes of the HRD organization speak for themselves. Bakeries built to serve Yemenis Yemen are proof of HRD's commitment to improving the population's lives. Allah will remove difficulty from him at the time of judgment for anyone who removes hardships for believers.

They'll try their best to be responsive to all

    Jul 18, 2022

The company is dedicated to helping others. I cannot express enough gratitude for the number of people they've assisted and how many are grateful; however, I can say they're amazing. I would like to see that negative feedback can be addressed since, in these times, the pressure of life is already too much. I'm sure they'll try their best to be responsive to all.

Great work to help the people

    Jun 13, 2022

As a small nonprofit, HRD has done great work to help the people of Yemen, meeting basic needs like food security and opportunities to become self-sufficient entrepreneurs through things like Project Uplift.

I was an intern for the organization and then an employee, so I have seen the hard work that the staff put in to make sure that decisions provide the best benefits to citizens despite an array of obstacles.

HRD is an organization I will always admire for starting with an idea to help others and being able to expand to leave an impact on different lives truly.

About Humanity for Relief and Development

We are a non-governmental 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering caused by the ongoing conflict in Yemen. Officially established in New York City in 2018, from its more informal beginnings in 2015, HRD is the result of friends and community pulling together to find a way to help those less fortunate. Our mission: To improve the lives of individuals and families affected by the war in Yemen through a range of sustainable projects, providing tangible results with a positive impact. Our most famous project, Mercy Bakery, is responsible for delivering over 14,400 loaves of bread to needy families in Yemen.
