What is included in a standard cleaning with Homeaglow?
Standard cleaning with Homeaglow includes thoroughly cleaning the bedrooms, living room, common areas, bathrooms, and kitchen. In the bedrooms, all accessible surfaces are dusted, mirrors and glass fixtures are wiped down, floor surfaces are cleaned, and garbage and recy- cling are taken out. Similarly, in the bathrooms, the toilet, shower, tub, and sink are washed and sanitized, accessible surfaces are dusted, mir- rors and glass fixtures are wiped down, floor surfaces are cleaned, and garbage and recy- cling are removed. The kitchen is treated with the same attention, involving dusting accessible surfaces, emptying the sink and loading the dishwasher with dirty dishes, wiping down the exterior of the stove, oven, and fridge, cleaning the floor surfaces, and taking out garbage and recycling.
Homeaglow offers optional extras, such as cleaning inside cabinets, inside the fridge, in- side the oven, doing laundry wash and dry, and cleaning interior windows, which can be added for a deeper clean at an additional cost and time.
How does homeaglow work?
1. Book a cleaning: You can book a cleaning on the Homeaglow website or app. Just select your date, time, and the size of your home that you'd like to get cleaned.
2. Choose your cleaner: Homeaglow will show you a list of available cleaners in your area, along with their rates and reviews. You can read their profiles and choose the best suits your needs.
3. Get cleaned: Your cleaner will arrive at your home on the scheduled date and time and clean according to your instructions. You can pay for the cleaning through the Homeaglow platform.

Very disappointed
I had an initial 3 hour cleaning scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2024 beginning between 1 and 2 p.m. I left detailed instructions on how to get to my apartment. I left the key under mat.....got home expecting to see a clean and good smelling apartment and low and behold, the cleaning HAD NOT BEEN DONE! I did not receive a cancellation notice or reschedule. I tried texting and emailing today to find out what happened and have not heard back. Can someone please explain to me what happened. Thank you.

This business is a scam. Don't do it!!!
They have scrubbed their reviews. They have an "F" with the BBB in Albuquerque. They need o run this company out of town. They schedule and then send you someone who has never cleaned anything in his life, he's 17 years old and tells me after 1 and 1/2 hours that he has to go to his other job. I called to get a refund and find out that i signed up for a "membership by scheduling a $19.00 cleaning. They charged 150.00 or something close to that, plus the 19.00. Told me I needed pictures to file a complaint. Who would think of taking a pic of the clock when the person left or a pic of the bathtub, how could you tell unless it was filthy. Why would you even think you might have to take pics to prove your dissatisfaction? I saw some 5 star reviews online and they are false because you don't get an "F' at the BBB if you have 5 star reviews. All you need to do is pay someone to "scrub " your reviews which they obviously did. As I said, they should have been run out of town months ago.

Is it possible to give less than 1 star?
I had one cleaner who did a decent job. I had a second cleaner who did a fabulous job. 3 cleaners said they were on their way and never showed up. I told Homeaglow after the second one that if it happened again, they were history. They are still billing my credit card for service I'm not getting. I'm in the Charlotte area. They may be great elsewhere but not here.
Be careful with Homeaglow uncleared fees and subscription
The cleaning lady is good and nice. But Homeglow company has hidden fees that was not clear at the beginning. Also, the company doesn't care and they are not responsible. My case, the co. gave a wrong address to the cleaning lady, lead to my appt was canceled because the lady was an hour far away. They did not let me know promptly that they canceled my appointment, they let me waited... I cancel subscription because they didn't give the good customer service and unclear fee. And THE THING THAT THEY WANNA CHARGE ME $223 FOR THE UNSUBSCRIBE FEE!?
The very first time they gave me 5 hours cleaning service and charged me $53 and $49. (I had no idea what $49 for because they didn't let me know at the beginning.)
All together they wanna charge me $325 for 5 hours. Wow! $65/hour! How do you think

homeglow advertising is very misleading especially the senior citizens of baseball with disabilities better not as computer savvy as the Young generation. they are aware of this and the way they have it set up is that they draw you dancing away from the terms of conditions which is in the bottom in the fine print which is against FTC regulations. and you you see the term membership in there you can't find the really with the p is they don't really go into depth about it they make me think you're getting your house cleaned for 49 a month. that is the monthly fee the hourly fees for workers are between 20 and $30 an hour they wanted a valid credit card I mean with my credit card was that way and I asked him why do you want it for they said because we have to have a hold on it for the worker in case she works longer but we don't charge till after that he is done was a total lie when they got a hold of my other credit card that had over $100 on it they charged me 2 months of 49 dollars for membership fees without asking about 60 different times and he danced around the subject. so I file a complaint with FTC the BBB and said oh corn spot the emails to my credit card companies and they all agreed the same thing that home glow does not follow the FTC guidelines. and then review they have two lawsuits against them they have changed your name five different times since 2015 due to this problem in the misleading people. after I got refunded I told him I was going to be watching them to make sure they didn't take advantage and mislead others

Cancelations and No show
I had an appointment scheduled for Dec 28th 2023at 1pm they cancelled that appointment said they couldn't find a cleaner. They rescheduled for for Jan 11th at noon and once again they cancelled saying they couldn't find a cleaner. They rescheduled a third time on Feb 6th at 10am. A cleaning person confirmed they would show up at 10am on the 6th via text msg and was a no show.
I texted her a msg to see if she was coming. No reply back.

Some good, some don't show up
I've had two cleaners, Daniel and Lawanda, who did excellent jobs, were very professional and showed up on time. On the other hand, I've had three who didn't show up, two of whom said they were on their way but never came. I'd use Daniel anytime if I didn't have to go thru Homeaglow. I also picked a time, no one took that time, and they rescheduled me for a less convenient time without asking.

Worthless
This company hires local housecleaning companies which would be fine if they were vetted. They sent two non-speaking ladies. They used my Dyson vacuum cleaner; they did not have their own. They had a English speaking friend call me to see if I would prefer to hire the two ladies instead of using Homeaglow. Wow! The two ladies did a sub par job. Never never will I ever use them again. They wanted to charge me $192 for the future cleanings since I broke my contract. That did not happen.

Samantha, sprayed an oil based furniture polish in my bedroom and office, resulting in the fire alarms going off and I had an adverse reaction to the spray. The spray was not wiped up or wiped into the furniture which resulted in clogged fire alarms and health problems for me and my husband.

My cleaner arrived without a vacuum. What good is that? Mine is broken and that is why I needed a cleaning service. It should be mandatory that they are available ONLY if their own equipment is working.
