    Overall, it was a good experience

    The site was simple to navigate, and we received exactly what was promised. It was a fantastic method to reduce the cost of selling our house. The agent we picked was highly proficient at what he did. The only issue was the constant reminders that he was not being compensated enough, even though realtors were willing to participate in this program. The service was not professional. However, we were pleased with his service and the knowledge he offered us. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will use Clever again.

    The Experience Was Great

    The Experience Was Great, But Not Enough Open Houses. Also, The Final Walk Through Was Done By The Owners Friends and Realtor. I was Never Contacted By Our Realtor or Their Realtor in This Situation. Need to Be Informed Of This Happening. The Friends Did Not Buy the House. It Was the Owners Who Entered Into a Contract. Other Wise Eric was Great!

    She's excellent

    Clever put me in touch in a relationship with Shannon of Keller Williams. She’s excellent, quick, and always has her customers’ most vital interests in mind. The only issue I faced was when she chose to hand me over to her manager broker. Apart from that, I would use clever again, and I have already recommended a friend of mine to use innovation to save money in selling his house.

    The property was sold within two weeks

    We worked with an agent in the area who was very skilled. The property was sold within two weeks, with a higher price than the asking price. Because it was a lower commission arrangement, the value we got was not reduced.

    Just as great as the person you are given

    The house was sold, but the agent, though lovely, was managing a high volume (or they were working on their own), and they were capable of providing a minimum of service. There were a few lapses in communication and some shoddy work. Still, the savings are worth it over a traditional real estate agent.

    Find someone else who can let you set your commission rates

    When I first spoke with Clever, they told me they could let me set my buyer’s commission on agents. Not so! The agent I wanted to get to know stated that he would not take this listing until I offered a minimum of 2.5 percent, both agents who contacted me noted the same thing. Find someone else who can let you set your commission rates

    She's about an hour away

    I wanted to save a few dollars via Clever R.E. However, the agents they connected with weren’t the right fit for me. One was located in Rhode Island, and I’m selling in Massachusetts. She’s about an hour away. Is she likely to be able our house if needed? The two other had been Real Estate investment firms whose goal was to offer the lowest cost possible. In my situation, the adage is true “you get what you pay for.”

    Be Upfront and Disclose it All

    I’m sorry to have to write a negative review. I took to heart Chris Ohm’s statement, “There will be no extra charges or fees, just $3000 for listing and 2.5-3 percentage buyer’s agent fees. This was even after I asked three or four times about additional fees or costs. However, Clever did not discuss the closing costs sellers will have to pay in the final. It was not until I spoke to the agent I used that I learned these additional closing fees aren’t part of the listing fee of $3000. It was foolish to believe that it’s important if the advertisements or representatives do not tell the customer, “But there might be the cost of closing to discuss the agent.”

    Service SUCKS!

    I contacted Clever Real Estate to use the service. I provided my initial information. A call came the next day and told them that I was working and would call them back at 4:30 pm. They never responded ever again. Calls and messages were left. There was no return call. Finally, I tried calling back this morning, and a young lady rang back. She said she didn’t know the reason for what happened—using a traditional Real Estate broker. Service SUCKS!

    Fraudulent Advertisement

    Clever claims that every Clever Partner Agent has agreed to provide full service and support in exchange for an upfront fee of $3000 or 1% for homes that exceed $350,000. However, The agent I was recommended to me by Clever of the Woodlands, Tx, told me I’d have to pay $150 to take photos and $350 for a transaction coordinator.

    I am disappointed with using Clever

    I am disappointed with using Clever, mainly when the market was performing very well. The agent who referred me was the most unfavorable one I could find. Clever’s business model doesn’t permit sellers to get the best price. The primary goal is to ensure that your house is sold at a price lower than what it is worth. It is best to use traditional agents that get the 6% commission and tend to be keener to sell your house at a high price.

    Awful experience!

    The Clever was a complete sham. Keep your distance as from them as you can. They’re only helpful to lure you in, but they’re not to be located if problems occur. It appears to be a fraud, with agents you do not even meet who could invite anyone to check for your home. It would help if you were cautious about this. I’ve never had such an awful experience as this. Don’t think I didn’t warn you.

    satisfying experience

    Save significant amounts of money by using Clever. All in all, a satisfying experience. I was offered a range of agents and then chosen just one. The chosen agent was exceptional. Clever kept me on edge by following in on the progress of the process. I will use in the future.

    The whole process went smoothly

    Clever referred us to an agent in the area who was familiar with the site and was helpful through all phases of the selling process. They also were willing to sell our house for a 1% fee. The whole process went smoothly, and we were pleased with our interactions between Clever and the realtor they assisted us in finding.

    It didn't work for me

    I wanted to save a few dollars via Clever R.E. However, the agents they linked me with weren’t suitable for me. One of them was originally from Rhode Island, and I’m selling in Massachusetts.     Clever was extremely responsive

    Clever was highly responsive. She walked me through each step and then checked in about my service. The agents I was matched with were professional and had extensive knowledge of my area.

    The service I received was excellent from the agent that I chose from my matches. Even though the commission structure was lower, it did not affect the quality of the service. Clever has many benefits that I am happy with, and there are no negatives.

    From Skeptical to Enthusiastic

    When I tried to sell my house, I found myself in an unusual situation. My build was too high for the area, with very few comps. I also didn’t know any local realtors I could trust in this situation, let alone invest a commission of 6%. But I thought it might work, or I could try this Clever system, which was entirely new. The results were terrific!

    In the beginning, I was offered two options (with additional options if they weren’t what my needs were). Both were very pleasant to me when I interviewed them. Both were very knowledgeable and interested in the property. Both would have been very easy to choose. One had the best approach for me, so I decided on them both. I chose the one that I didn’t like. She was very gracious about it. I would work with her again and highly recommend her.

    We were listed very quickly, and the process was smooth. The realtor I selected was very attentive to my needs as I set the price. Even before the open house, we received a complete value offer. The county incorrectly rated my property and put it on the fact list. This square footage fact must be included in the listing. We ended up losing the sale.

    The buyer’s appraiser took advantage and tried to force/bully for a meager price. We received several offers immediately and settled on an all-cash offer within two weeks. Although it wasn’t the listing price, it was fair considering the square footage difference and the time required to complete additional appraisals for lenders. It was a win-win situation for me and the couple who bought the home.

    My realtor was the best! He was highly professional, knowledgeable, and had all the resources he needed throughout the entire process. He assured me that they would work as hard as I paid them, and they did. He was a true professional and didn’t miss a beat when we had to deal with the snags.

    Clever was a great experience! He was always honest with me and allowed me to make my own decisions. He was always ethical and worked for the best outcome for everyone, but I was his only client. Clever was cheaper than other options, and I was able to take a chance and make the sale. However, Clever helped me find a realtor I would pay 6% for!
