Unpromising Start : A Book's Troubled Beginning
I went through the initial chapters of this book, and I couldn't continue reading it. It's challenging to articulate just how poorly the book is written. The prose feels as though it were patched together over a weekend by a 20-year-old individual, who also happens to be a used car salesman and might have consumed too much Adderall. The book gives off the vibe of someone trying overly complex to pitch their "get rich quick" scheme.
While the reviews are predominantly positive, my experience with the beginning was so underwhelming that I couldn't push myself to delve deeper. It's hard not to entertain the thought that this whole endeavor is simply a part of the author's elaborate scheme.
Innovative Concepts : Must Read This Book
The way the book is written makes it easy for me to understand the content, even though the concepts and frameworks it presents are entirely novel and refreshing. I'm currently at the halfway point of the book and hooked. The videos on the author's website and the book provide an incredible amount of valuable information for free. I'm amazed at how effortlessly he simplifies complex concepts, and I'm sure you'll appreciate it too.

As a small business owner, I found much to appreciate in this book, particularly its emphasis on practicality. However, my rating of 3 stars instead of 5 is a specific issue. Still, upon closer examination, they appear to be somewhat questionable. Despite this concern, I can't deny that the book is packed with helpful advice and insights.

I've been there and done that, so while this book might not be lengthy in terms of word count, it's packed with a wealth of helpful information. Someone new to the business world would find this information easy to grasp and immediately applicable to their journey.
At around 150 pages, I've filled them with iPad doodles and typed the text in 14pt font with almost double spacing. I can't help but notice that I've mentioned my business in nearly every chapter. Despite these quirks, I believe this book contains valuable nuggets. Interestingly, I've realized that I've followed the advice in my book: 'Ask for the highest price you can without breaking a smile.' If I had chosen a more traditional formatting style, I suspect the book would rival the thickness of a brochure. But of course, it's important to remember that the sheer word count doesn't always directly correlate with the value delivered.
I've noticed that he revisits some timeless business wisdom but presents it in a manner that's easier to connect with. If you're stepping into the world of business literature, I'd suggest giving this book a shot. The author has a knack for breaking down crucial concepts in a manner that's accessible to everyone. And as expected from any business-focused read, you'll come across fresh perspectives and innovative tips. What sets Hormozi apart is that he's lived through everything he discusses, unlike other business books that lean more toward theoretical insights. This factor makes his book more hands-on, and his anecdotes are genuinely motivating.
Disappointing: Basic Content, Poor Quality, Not Worth the Cost
In my experience, the book provided only fundamental information about personal stories and motivational pep talks. I regret to say that it was a complete waste of my hard-earned money. What's more, I was pretty disappointed by the inferior printing quality of the book. Considering the content and material presented, I feel it did not live up to its cost and was not worth the investment.
Disappointing Ink and Content on the book
The paper I received felt flimsy, and I noticed that the black ink had faded in several areas, making it difficult to read. Some of the pages had streaks of color printing across them. I remember that the author had produced a video on the same subject, where they mentioned that the book contained even more detailed information. However, upon reading it, I realized that the book was essentially a word-for-word transcript of the video.
I wouldn't recommend picking up the book if you've already watched the video. I believe there's room for improvement, Alex. It comes across as a bit cheap, especially since you usually emphasize delivering high value. Perhaps consider adding unique content to the book instead of replicating the video transcript. This would help avoid any concerns that the reader might raise.
I must admit, Alex, I hold you in high regard based on your videos, and I genuinely feel a solid connection to your message. I often think, "Wow, this guy is truly inspiring!" However, if I hadn't been familiar with your work before, I might have questioned whether you truly uphold your promises based on the quality of this book.
